Wes and his Kuiper Belt Objects

Here you'll find out about all the Kuiper Belt science and astronomy Wes get's up to. Follow the links at the top to find out about Wes's cool projects, who Wes is, and what his interests are.

And in case you were wondering, KBOs stands for Kuiper Belt Objects.

This page is a work in progress.

Over the next couple days, Wes will edit this page to describe the survey, and the first science results of the program.

Wes is the PI of the Colours of the Outer Solar System Origins Survey, a large 4-year program on the Gemini-North and Canada-France-Hawaii Telescopes. Here's the Gemini-North telescope (foreground) and the CFHT (background) pointed at the first ever target observed by our program.

Time for an update

After a couple years of stagnation due to moving home, then moving departments, it's finally time to hunker down and update this page. If things look a bit old or out of place, well, I hope to fix that soon!
